Video: Bruins Star David Pastrnak Leads Chant At Soccer Game
Boston Bruins winger David Pastrnak was back home in the Czech Republic last night watching his favorite soccer team, Baník Ostrava. He was very pumped up to be there, as this video shows him leading Baník fans in a passionate chant.
It's always nice to see NHLers enjoying themselves during the off-season. Pastrnak deserves to have fun, as he is coming off of another great season and was named Czech Player of the Year for a fifth straight time. In fact, he broke Jaromir Jagr's previous record in the process.
With the season just over a month away, the Bruins are hoping he will continue to bring that kind of energy to the ice. In 48 games this past season, he scored 20 goals and recorded 48 points. He also was one of the Bruins top postseason performers, as he had seven goals and 15 points in 11 total games.
Here's to hoping Pastrnak continues to enjoy Baník games in the future. However, next time, he hopes they have more success, as they ended losing 4-0 to Slavia Praha.
