Video: Pat Maroon Training To Lift His Fourth Straight Stanley Cup
Pat Maroon is training hard for the upcoming season, as the NHL's official Twitter account shared a video of him deadlifting 440 pounds for multiple reps.
The 33-year-old forward is certainly looking ready to go for this October. Maroon is in the second year of his two-year, $1.8 million contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 55 games this past regular season, he scored four goals and recorded 18 points. He also tacked on 60 penalty minutes with that.Big Rig with some BIG weights.

Maroon famously has won three straight Stanley Cups. In 2018-19, he helped his hometown team of the St. Louis Blues win their first ever Stanley Cup. He then of course has won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Lightning. Although he was not the superstar of those championship teams, his depth scoring and immense physical play helped them out a lot. He will be aiming to do the same thing this year and win his fourth straight. Based on this video, he surely would have no trouble lifting it.
