2022 NHL Entry Draft Date Likely To Change
With the NHL having an Olympic break this season, the 2022 NHL Entry Draft is now expected to be held on a different date. It is currently scheduled for June 24-25, 2022, but according to Corey Pronman of The Athletic, it will likely be changed to July 7, 2022.
As a result of the draft likely being moved, free agency will of course have to follow suit. Yet, this is a very small price to pay with NHLers going back to the Olympics for the first time since 2014.Believe the 2022 NHL Draft will likely take place the second week of July. Think league is looking at having day 1 on Thursday which would be July 7.

The 2022 draft class is looking very strong, so fans of rebuilding squads should be very excited. Shane Wright, Ivan Miroshnichenko, Brad Lambert and Matthew Savoie are just a few names to pay close attention to.
