An Update On Mike Hoffman's Injury
We reported yesterday that Mike Hoffman currently has a lower-body injury. Now, Montreal Canadiens head coach Dominique Ducharme has announced that the 31-year-old winger will be out for a maximum of four weeks. With this, there's a good chance that he will miss the regular season opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 13th.
This is a hard way for the veteran forward's tenure to begin with the Canadiens, but thankfully, it sounds as if the injury is not too serious. Thus, he should make his debut for the team shortly after the start of the season, at worst.Mike Hoffman should be out 4 weeks. Brendan Gallagher will skate tomorrow, according to Dominique Ducharme. @CanadiensMTL

The Canadiens are looking forward to his official arrival to the team. Hoffman produces offensively very well and will be a nice addition to their top-six. In 52 games this past season with the St. Louis Blues, he scored 17 goals and recorded 36 points.
