Arizona Coyotes Trade Rumors Denied
The Arizona Coyotes have been busy wheeling and dealing this summer as the team is looking to get younger and recoup some draft picks. While they continue to talk trade with several teams, don't expect to see young defenseman Jakob Chychrun included in any deal as these trade rumors have now been squashed.

After Christian Dvorak was traded, Chychrun tweeted out a crying face emoji which obviously sparked some speculation on if he was next. Coyotes insider Craig Morgan has come out and put the rumors to bed, stating the team will not be moving the 23-year-old defenseman.
Last season Chychrun recorded 41 points in 56 games and is blossoming into one of the best young defenseman in the game. While the rebuild continues for the Coyotes, it makes sense to keep him in the desert.
Arizona has eight draft picks in the first two rounds of the 2022 NHL Draft after their latest trade with the Montreal Canadiens. And while the team is likely to make another move or two before the 2021-22 NHL season begins, don't expect to see Chychrun involved, and it's much more likely veteran sniper Phil Kessel is the player that's moved next.
