Ben Bishop Expects To Play This Season
Ben Bishop missed the entirety of last season due to a knee injury that required surgery. When asked about his future, the 34-year-goaltender stated that expects to play this season.
There is no question that Bishop will have to shake off a lot of rust. He's an older goaltender who just missed an entire season of action. Ben Bishop replied “Absolutely”
If Bishop is fully healthy, the Stars will have plenty of NHL-caliber goaltenders. Keep in mind, they just signed Braden Holtby this summer, while already having Anton Khudobin and Jake Oettinger. It will be intriguing to see who they end up rolling with if Bishop is 100% ready to go.
Nonetheless, here's to hoping the 6'7" goaltender recovers well and can get into some action this season. Hockey fans miss him.
