Boston Bruins: 2 Trade Rumors Following the Team
The Boston Bruins are one of the best run organizations in the league. The team is stacked with talent, their salary cap situation is healthy and the Bruins are going to contend again in 2021-22. Here's two trade rumors that seem to follow the Bruins around:
Jack Eichel Ends Up in Bean Town
If Eichel had his way he would be suiting up in Boston in 2021-22. Unfortunately for him it's not that easy as his $10 million contract is hard for a lot of teams to absorb. However, the Bruins have been linked in the past and if they were to pull the trigger the deal would involve Jake DeBrusk and Brandon Carlo. If the Bruins moved out another contract this trade could work and expectation is at least one first round pick would be included.
Jake DeBrusk to the Edmonton Oilers
Feels like DeBrusk has been linked to the Oilers since his first day in the league. The 24-year-old was born in Edmonton and still has many roots laid down in Western Canada. The Oilers could use a left-wing like DeBrusk to compliment their group but it appears with the contract extension for Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the Oilers have moved on. The rumors continue....
