Colorado Avalanche Likely Changing Their Road Jerseys

Last night, the Colorado Avalanche held a scrimmage showcasing many of their prospects. Team Burgundy wore last season's home jerseys, but Team White sported brand new road ones. The numbers on the back of them are now blue instead of black. Here's a few pictures of them below.

Last season, the Avalanche switched to blue helmets and gloves, so perhaps this switch should not be too surprising. The team appears to be moving away from their black color scheme to become primarily maroon and blue.

At this time, the team has not announced that these will officially be their road jerseys next season. However, with the kids wearing them at developmental camp, it does seem probable that they will be.
