Edmonton Oilers Sign Colton Sceviour PTO Contract
The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Colton Sceviour to a professional tryout contract.
Sceviour spent last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. In 46 games with the team. he scored five goals and recorded 10 points. At this point of his career, he can work well in the bottom-six or as a 13th forward. He will be hoping to land himself a one-year deal with Edmonton from here and may have an okay shot.
Sceviour is capable of being a decent point-producer in the NHL, as he has gotten over 20 points on four separate occasions. However, the last time he did was during the 2017-18 season.
In 500 career games between the Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers and Penguins, Sceviour has 64 goals, 87 assists and 151 points.
We will have to wait and see if the 32-year-old winger can make the team.
