Flyers Defenseman Out Months After Undergoing Knee Surgery
The Philadelphia Flyers are starting the season banged and bruised as the team will be without several players to open camp, including defenseman Samuel Morin. The versatile defender underwent knee surgery on September 10, and will be out roughly two months.
Last season Morin posted one goal in 20 games for the Flyers and is looking to make a big jump in 2021-22. The surgery he had done repaired some loose bodies which were floating around in his knee.

The towering defenseman who is a former first-round pick should make a full recovery, he'll just have to start the season on the injured list. Look for Morin to return to the lineup sometime before the Christmas break. It's a make or break season and it's certainly starting on the wrong foot.
