Maple Leafs Goalie to Miss Time With Injury
The Toronto Maple Leafs hosted the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night as the NHL's preseason schedule kicked off. Unfortunately for Maple Leafs netminder Ian Scott, the night didn't finish like he wanted. Scott came into the game in relief and it was short lived as he had to leave the game after injuring his groin.
Scott is a former fourth round selection of the Maple Leafs who only appeared in six professional games last season. He's battled a number of injuries and unfortunately a bunch of bad luck.

The 22-year-old is expected to miss 'some time' which is likely around the two month mark. He was slated to battled for ice-time with the Toronto Marlies with Michael Hutchinson and Joseph Woll.
