Pavel Francouz Is Ready To Return For Colorado Avalanche
According to Adrian Dater of Colorado Hockey Now, goaltender Pavel Francouz is healed from his lower body injury and ready to go for the start of the season. He is expected to form a tandem with recently acquired Darcy Kuemper.
Francouz missed the entirety of this past season due to his injury. It was a hard blow for the Avalanche, as he was absolutely stellar in his first full NHL season with them. In 34 games, he had a 21-7-4 record to go along with a .923 SV%. If he can replicate those totals this season, the Avalanche will surely be in good shape.Pavel Francouz practicing every day lately. Francouz has one year left on his contract and carries a $2 million cap hit. The 31-year-old will be hoping to have a strong season again, as he could get a pretty noticeable raise next off-season as a free agent.
