Admittedly, the last Olympic hockey was hard to watch and now NHL fans and hockey fans around the world get a chance to watch the very best of the game become teammates and go head to head with the world's best.
Auston Matthews on a line with Patrick Kane? Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby on the same power play? Can Sweden and Finland win gold? Will the Czech surprise? Can Russia get back to being a powerhouse?
There's a lot to look forward to and hockey fans should be as excited as ever with the news. Considering the world is still within a pandemic, there's certainly a level of unknown and fear that looms over, but hopefully everything will be clear as day and safe for travel. We will deal with that later, for now it's just great to hear this news!
