Ridly Greig Handed Suspension
The results of Ridly Greig's hearing have been released. The 19-year-old Ottawa Senators forward will be suspended for one preseason game and one regular season game for his cross-check on Pierre-Luc Dubois last night.
As we reported earlier, he inflicted notable damage to Dubois' face, as the latter had to get 15 stitches from the hit.Ottawa’s Ridly Greig has been suspended for one preseason game and one regular season game for Cross-checking Winnipeg’s Pierre-Luc Dubois. https://t.co/UCkb3VefXH

On the play, Greig received a five-minute major and 10-minute misconduct. Before the penalty, he scored a fantastic goal, so he was a main talking point from the game for more reasons than one.
The 2020 first-round pick will now miss out on the team's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs this Wednesday.
