San Jose Sharks Re-Sign Noah Gregor
The San Jose Sharks have signed Noah Gregor to a one-year, two-way contract. It will pay him $750,000 at the NHL level.
Gregor has spent the last two seasons bouncing between the NHL and AHL. In 30 games this season with the Sharks, the 23-year-old forward scored five goals and added an assist. In the AHL, he did quite well, as he had nine points in 10 games.
Heading into this upcoming season, the Sharks are hoping that Gregor can permanently cement himself in their lineup. He has had success offensively in the minors and did during juniors, so one has to wonder how much more he can provide at the NHL level.
With the Sharks not having the deepest forward group, Gregor does have a good shot at making the team. If he has a strong camp, expect to see him receive more chances this go-around.
