Three Top RFAs Are Training Together

According to Pierre LeBrun, Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson and Brady Tkachuk are skating together in Michigan. All three of them are currently RFAs.

With training camps around the league starting, it makes sense that these three are all aiming to get into shape. Even if Tkachuk is not on the Vancouver Canucks like the other two, it is pretty common for players to train with opponents during the off-season.

At this point, we are still waiting to see if any progress is made with their contract talks. It's rather apparent that the Canucks need Hughes and Pettersson, just like the Senators need Tkachuk. It's essential for both of them if they hope to compete.

It will be interesting to see what contracts each of them end up with. Until then, don't be surprised to hear if these three continue skating with one another.
