Tyler Bozak Re-Signs With St. Louis Blues
Tyler Bozak is coming back to the St. Louis Blues. The 35-year-old center has signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the team. It also comes with performance bonuses.
It became known to the public that Bozak was expected to sign with a team this week, so this is not surprising. However, it is wonderful news that the Blues were the winners and able to bring the veteran back at that small of a cap hitBOZIE'S BACK! @bozie42 has agreed to terms on a one-year contract to return to the Blues. #stlblues

In 31 games this past season with the Blues, Bozak scored five goals and had a total of 17 points. That is still solid offensive production and he will likely continue to play third-line minutes for them. He also has been praised for his faceoff and defensive ability, so his return is a real win for St. Louis.
Bozak was arguably the best free agent still available and it's surprising it took this long for him to get his new deal. It will be intriguing to see how he does in his fourth season with the Blues.
