Winnipeg Jets: 2 Underrated Players To Watch

The NHL has so many underrated players who deserve far more recognition. In this segment, we will be discussing two from every team in the league. Their overall roles and abilities may differ, but they all share the common theme that they are not as respected as they ought to be.

For full transparency, two teams will be randomly picked from a wheel each day. The winners will then be discussed.

In this piece, we will be focusing on the Winnipeg Jets. These two players have grown into strong talents for the club, so it feels right to five them a chance in the spotlight.

Andrew Copp C/LW: Andrew Copp had a fantastic season this year. In 55 games, he scored 15 goals and recorded 39 points. It will be interesting to see what he is capable of doing this season. He is in a contract year, so we could very well see even more production from him this go-around. He's a very solid player that can play on both the penalty kill and power play as well. All of this makes him such a valuable part of their lineup.

Adam Lowry C: Adam Lowry had a solid year offensively, as he had 10 goals and 24 points in 52 games. Had the NHL player a full 82-game schedule this past season, he easily would have crushed his career-high of 29 points. He not only provides good depth scoring, but he also is a very physical player. The 6'5" forward had 161 hits this past season, so opponents are always well-aware when he's on the ice. He also kills penalties, so he provides a bit of everything to the team. Every NHL team would love to have Lowry.
