2 Philadelphia Flyers Most Likely to be Traded
The Philadelphia Flyers are off to a hot start this season after a very busy offseason where they made some significant changes. The team sits at 3-1-1 on the season as we look ahead to some potential moves to come from the franchise.
2 Flyers Who Could Be On the Move This Season
James van Riemsdyk: The Flyers were hopeful the Seattle Kraken were going to get off their wallets at the expansion draft but that was not the case at all and JVR remained in Philly. The scoring winger has this season and next left on his contract, paying him $7 million a season. He's yet to score in five games and has seemed to have lost a step. When the Flyers eventually move on from JVR, look for them to have to retain some salary in the deal.
Morgan Frost: The Flyers are going to be in a position to go for it this season and will be in the market for some impact players via trade. This could come down to a rental at the deadline or a hockey trade throughout the year. Regardless, teams will be asking for Frost as their piece as the 22-year-old and former first-round pick is one of the Flyers best prospects. Philadelphia will be in the market for a top-six impact forward this season and a depth defenseman, and Frost is likely the prospect heading out to make it happen.
