2 Vegas Golden Knights Most Likely to be Traded
The Vegas Golden Knights are off to a decent start so far this season and they have been involved in a number of trade discussions. The team doesn't have a ton of cap space to work with and will need to be creative making their next trade.
2 Golden Knights Who Could Be Traded This Season
Brayden McNabb: The rugged defenseman was an expansion selection of the franchise has done everything and more of what's been asked. He's in the final season of his contract, paying him $2.5 million and he's in for a raise on his next deal. So far in six games he's off to a fine start with three assists and is on pace for a solid offensive season, which is something new for McNabb. It's going to take a solid offer to get Vegas to agree, but keep an eye on McNabb as there's a tremendous amount of interest in his game league wide.
Reilly Smith: Another pending free agent, instead Smith makes twice as much at $5 million. His name has been brought up in the Jack Eichel talks as the Sabres have stated they are willing to take on an expensive contract for the remainder of this season as it's not easy for teams to add Eichel's $10 million cap hit. Smith is an offensive winger who can skate with the best of them. He's two years removed from a 27-goal season and if the Golden Knights do decide to shake things up, expect to see Smith sent off the strip.
