3 Teams Who Could Trade for Blackhawks' Dylan Strome

The Chicago Blackhawks appear to be moving on from forward Dylan Strome as he was once against held out from the regular rushes at practice. Strome will be a healthy scratch in the Blackhawks next matchup and could soon be dealt.

A number of hockey's best insiders have confirmed the team is receiving a ton of trade calls and making their own as well. Strome was once a top-three draft pick who had a fantastic season in his first with the Blackhawks back in 2018-19 when he put up 51 points in 58 games. His production has slipped since, only registering 55 points in 98 games since. He has yet to appear in a game this season.

3 Teams Who Could Trade for Strome

Buffalo Sabres: The Sabres are an obvious choice because of the fact they could use Strome immediately and give the 24-year-old a ton of ice-time and an opportunity to compete for a top-six role. He's under contract for this season, making $3 million and this is something the Sabres could easily handle under their cap.

Minnesota Wild: The Wild and Blackhawks completing a deal seems unlikely, but there's certainly a need there for Minny. They have been trying to get their hands on another center and Strome could fit in nicely with their group. Expect the Blackhawks to want a top-20 type prospect in return in any deal.

Anaheim Ducks: The Ducks are in the market for another center and Strome is a name that could make sense for their hockey club. He'd be given a much bigger role for the Ducks and would a deal for someone like Josh Manson make sense for both clubs?
