The Avalanche have started the regular season with a 1-1-0 record. Now that MacKinnon is coming back, they should have no trouble dominating yet again. During the 2020-21 season, the sported a 39-13-4 record and won the Presidents' Trophy with MacKinnon as their top center.
MacKinnon is one of the best players in the entire sport, so hockey is always far more entertaining when he's around. He will be looking to build off of his 65-point campaign in just 48 games last season.
