Carolina Hurricanes Top Prospect To Make NHL Debut Against Arizona Coyotes

The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that Seth Jarvis will be making his NHL debut Sunday afternoon against the Arizona Coyotes. This comes after the lower-body injury to forward Nino Niederreiter.

Hurricane fans should be excited to see what Jarvis is capable in his first NHL contest. The 19-year-old winger was selected by Carolina with the 13th overall pick of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. This came after he scored 42 goals and recorded 98 points in 58 games with the Portland Winterhawks the season before.

Jarvis split last season between the Winterhawks and Chicago Wolves. With the Winterhawks, he scored 15 goals and had 27 points in 24 games. However, his AHL dominance is what should excite people more. In nine games, he scored seven goals and recorded 11 points. That's fantastic production, especially when remembering that this was Jarvis' first real taste of professional hockey.

Here are some of his highlights with the Wolves.

Nonetheless, congrats to Seth! Let's see if he scores a goal in his first game with the Hurricanes.
