Forwards Jonathan Toews and Jujhar Khaira and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will not practice today (maintenance).
The 24-year-old defender was the key piece in the trade that saw Duncan Keith head to Edmonton. Seth's brother was all set to get some significant minutes with the Blackhawks, but as we know now will have to wait for his debut.
Last season in Edmonton, Jones appeared in 33 games, tallying four assists. In 93 career NHL games, the Texas native has managed to chip in with 19 points. The family affair in Chicago was supposed to be his coming out party, now Blackhawks fans have to wait for the festivities to begin.
