Colorado Avalanche Star Handed Suspension
The results of Gabriel Landeskog's hearing have been released. The 28-year-old winger has been suspended for two games for his dangerous hit on Chicago Blackhawks center Kirby Dach.
Late in the third period of the Avalanche's season opener, Landeskog boarded Dach when the latter was falling on his knees. Instead of letting up on the play and recognizing Dach was in a vulnerable position, Landeskog followed through with his check.Gabriel Landeskog ▶️▶️▶️ Kirby Dach#HFHits

Following the hit, a scrum ensued between both teams. Dach is one of the Blackhawks' top young forwards, so naturally, his teammates had his back. The team selected him third overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and is expected to be a major part of their future.
Alas, how do you feel about Landeskog's suspension? Let us know in the comments!
