Colorado Avalanche Veteran Defenseman To Miss Time
The Colorado Avalanche have another player in COVID protocol. Defenseman Jack Johnson has tested positive for the virus. Although he is asymptomatic, he is expected to be out for a while, according to Adrian Dater of Colorado Hockey Now.
Johnson started off his tenure with the Avalanche quite well. In the team's season opener against the Colorado Avalanche, he scored a beautiful goal against reigning Vezina Trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury.I’m hearing that Jack Johnson has tested positive for Covid-19. Asymptomatic, but out a while @ColHockeyNow

It's a shame that the 34-year-old now will be out for a bit from the illness. Last season was a hard one for Johnson, as he played just 13 games with the New York Rangers and only had an assist. Once he returns, he will be looking to have a bounce back year. He's off to a good start with that.
