Connor McDavid Calls Out Calgary Flames Defenseman

Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid is pissed off at Calgary Flames defenseman Chris Tanev for his carelessness. During their preseason matchup on Monday night, the two got tangled up and frankly McDavid was not happy about it.

It was the third period when it happened. McDavid barreled in using his game-changing speed and drove to the net. Tanev then decided to get his stick caught in the feet of McDavid and sent the superstar flying into the net. The Oilers captain felt the play was dirty and uncalled for.

Here's what McDavid had to say after the game:

Obviously they have the right to defend their net and defend me trying to get in there but when the stick kinda comes into the feet there like Tanev's did it's a dangerous play for me and the goalie. I think you'd like to see that called a little more
