It's Opening Night For The NHL!

The NHL regular season is officially here. For October 12th's games, we have two fun ones to watch. First, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. Then, the Seattle Kraken will be playing their first ever regular season game against the Vegas Golden Knights at 10:00 PM ET.

With the first matchup of the night, the Lightning will be lifting their third Stanley Cup banner up to the rafters. It's fitting that they will be facing off against the Penguins, too. Pittsburgh was the last team to win two Stanley Cups in a row before Tampa Bay.

Yet, the Penguins will be starting off with a bit of a disadvantage, as both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are not going to be in the lineup. It will also be intriguing to see how the Lightning's new roster looks. Keep in mind, they lost Yanni Gourde, Blake Coleman, Barclay Goodrow, Tyler Johnson and David Savard this summer.

It will also be extremely exciting to see the Kraken and Golden Knights go at it. It makes sense that Seattle's first game in franchise history will be against the NHL's 31st team. These two teams are also in the Pacific Division, so it will not be surprising if they develop a rivalry in time. This is a must-watch for all hockey fans.

Which game are you looking to forward to watch more? Also, let us know who you think will win each of them in the comments!
