Los Angeles Kings Provide Update On Quinton Byfield
The Los Angeles Kings have announced that forward Quinton Byfield has a left-ankle fracture and will be out indefinitely. This is awful news for both the 19-year-old forward and the Kings.

Byfield was expected to make Los Angeles' roster for the start of the regular season, but now that sadly cannot occur. He played six games with the NHL squad last season and had an assist.
Once Byfield is fully healthy, there is still a good chance that he will end up playing for the Kings this season. The team drafted him second overall because of his high amount of potential. He is expected to have a very bright future in this league, but for now, he will sadly be sidelined.
Here's to hoping Byfield can have a speedy recovery and be back with the Kings soon. It will be exciting to see what he's capable of doing when he's ready to go again.
