Los Angeles Kings Waive Defenseman
The Los Angeles Kings have placed defenseman Christian Wolanin on waivers.
Wolanin split last season between the Ottawa Senators and Kings. In 15 games with Ottawa, he had three assists. In his three contests with the Kings, he was held off the scoresheet. He also played two games with the Ontario Reign and had three assists. At the AHL level, he is very capable of producing offense.Los Angeles Kings placed Christian Wolanin on waivers. #GoKingsGo

Wolanin's best campaign as a professional occurred during the 2018-19 season. He was quite impressive with both Ottawa and the Belleville Senators. In 30 games with the NHL squad, he scored four goals and had 12 points. With Belleville, he scored seven goals and had 31 points in 40 games.
Teams may see Wolanin's past production and elect to give the 26-year-old a shot. He could be a solid defenseman on an NHL team looking to add a bit more depth to their backend.
