Mark Scheifele Out For Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets have announced that center Mark Scheifele has entered COVID-19 protocol. He is currently asymptomatic.
This is a very notable blow to Winnipeg's roster, as captain Blake Wheeler is out with the virus as well. It has been reported that Wheeler is symptomatic, so he will be out the next few games at a minimum.#NHLJets F - Mark Scheifele is in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol.

Scheifele missed the first game of the season due to the playoff suspension he received for charging Jake Evans. Since then, he has suited up in two games with the Jets and has two assists. However, with both him and Wheeler now out, the Jets are in a very rough position. At this time, they have a 0-2-1 record and are trying to get back on track. The news with Schiefele was the last thing they needed.
