In 54 games last season, he scored nine goals and had 24 points. During the season before with the Montreal Canadiens, he had 17 goals and 44 points in 71 games. However, Domi's full offensive potential was shown the year before, as he scored 28 goals and had 72 points in 82 games. It would be outstanding to see him hit those totals again this season.
This is a big year for Domi personally, as he is eligible for unrestricted free agency. Therefore, if he regroups and puts together a strong offensive season, he could land himself a very good contract this summer. That is the case whether he re-signs in Columbus or finds a new home elsewhere.
