Minnesota Wild: 2 Trade Rumors Following the Team

The Minnesota Wild surprised a lot of  people last season and are looking to take another step forward in 2021-22. The team finally locked up star Kirill Kaprizov and could be looking to make some upgrades to the roster in-season. Here's two trade rumors that have followed around the Wild.

Wild Engaged in Jack Eichel Discussions

General manager Bill Guerin has been looking for a number one center for some time now and Eichel fits the bill perfectly. Young, productive and under contract, the Wild have held dialogue with the Sabres but as we know, nothing finalized to his point. If the Wild meet the Sabres crazy asking price, expect to see one of Matthew Boldy or Marco Rossi included in the deal as Buffalo looks to stock young talent.

Matt Dumba Available for Right Price

The Wild may not land Eichel but expect them to land a number one center and Dumba could be the piece moved out to make it happen. He's been linked to several teams including the Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins in the past, but at this point a trade doesn't seem imminent. If Dumba gets moved this season expect a legit center coming back the other way.
