Montreal Canadiens Defenseman Joel Edmundson Returning From Leave Of Absence
Joel Edmundson is set to return for the Montreal Canadiens. Earlier this week, he took a leave of absence from the organization to spend time with his father who is battling cancer.
Now, Edmundson is back in Montreal. It's also important to note that the 28-year-old defenseman is expected to return to the ice in the next two weeks. He's been dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Joel Edmundson arrived in Montreal today. He could be back in @CanadiensMTL lineup in the next two weeks if everything is going according to plan.

It's good to hear that Edmundson should be able back in action shortly for the Canadiens. They need all the help they can get right now, as they currently sport a 1-5-0 record. They did just beat the Detroit Red Wings by a final score of 6-1 though.
Nonetheless, it's great that Joel was able to spend some time with his father. We'd like to send our best wishes to the Edmundson family.
