New Jersey Devils Defenseman Injured At Morning Skate
New Jersey Devils defenseman Damon Severson left the team's morning skate today after going down hard. The 27-year-old skated off the ice in clear pain and is now being seen by trainers.
Here's to hoping the injury is nothing serious and Severson will not have to miss any regular season action. He is one of their best defensemen, so losing him for the start of the year could have a serious impact on the team's overall success this season.Damon Severson just went down pretty hard at morning skate. The #NJDevils defensman labored to the bench and went down the tunnel with trainers.

In 56 games this past season, Severson scored three goals and recorded 21 points. At this said time, he also is one the team's alternate captains, so he not only plays very well, but also is one of their leaders.
We will have to wait and see how injured Severson truly is. Let's just hope that he's only a little banged up from falling and he doesn't have to miss any time.
