New Jersey Devils Goaltender Out With Lower-Body Injury
The New Jersey Devils have announced today that Jonathan Bernier will be out with a lower-body injury. As a response to this, the Devils have called up 20-year-old goaltender Nico Daws from Utica.
The Devils have been hit with the injury bug hard, as goaltender MacKenzie Blackwood is also currently injured. They also announced Thursday morning that Jack Hughes has been placed on the IR because of a dislocated shoulder.Jonathan Bernier will not dress tonight for #NJDevils.

Goaltending tandem will be Wedgewood and Daws.
Bernier out with a lower body injury.
The Devils signed Bernier this summer to a two-year, $8.25 million contract. He played in each of New Jersey's first two games this season. He won both of them and currently sports a .911 SV%.
Here's to hoping the injury is short-term and the 33-year-old will be back very soon.
