New Jersey Devils Sign Jimmy Vesey
Jimmy Vesey officially has a home for the 2021-22 NHL season. The 28-year-old winger has signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the New Jersey Devils. He had been on a professional tryout contract for them during the preseason.
Vesey is coming off of a down year offensively. In 50 games between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks, he scored five goals and recorded 10 points. He was capable of producing a bit more previously, as he recorded 35 points in 81 games during the 2018-19 season with the New York Rangers. Yet, since then, he hasn't been able to replicate those totals.NJ signs Jim Vesey: 1 year, $800K

Vesey will be looking to have a bounce back season with New Jersey. When looking at their forward depth, there is a chance that he can wiggle into their bottom-six. At worst, he will be their 13th forward and can jump into action when injuries inevitably happen.
