This is the second fine NHL Player Safety handed out on Sunday. Nicolas Aube-Kubel of the Philadelphia Flyers was fined $2,678.50 for kneeing Panthers' Mason Marchment in their Saturday night matchup.
The Ducks are certainly happy that Getzlaf only received a fine. He's been one of their best offensive players this season thus far. In six games, he has four assists and is looking a bit more like his previous self.
