Team Czech Republic Names First Three Players
Ondrej Palat, David Pastrnak and Jakub Voracek have all been named to Czech Republic's roster for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. All three of them are very good wingers, so it makes all the sense in the world.

Palat is coming off of a fantastic season with the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 55 games, he scored 15 goals and had 46 points. During the Lightning's playoff run, he also had five goals and 13 points in 23 games. Palat's strong two-way game and plethora of experience will make him a nice addition for the Czech Republic's roster. His two Stanley Cups shouldn't hurt, either.
Pastrnak is the most notable name of the three, as he is one of the best goal scorers in the NHL. In 48 games last season with the Boston Bruins, he scored 20 goals and recorded 48 points. During the 2019-20 season, he won the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy with Alex Ovechkin after scoring 48 goals in 70 games.
Jakub Voracek is a veteran who has experience in the Olympics previously. Although the 32-year-old winger was traded from the Philadelphia Flyers back to the Columbus Blue Jackets this summer, he's still a top-six forward. In 53 games last season, he scored nine goals and had 43 points.
