Trade Rumor: Vegas Golden Knights "Getting Close" To Adding Jack Eichel
According to John Hoven, the Vegas Golden Knights and Buffalo Sabres are "getting close" to striking a deal centering around Jack Eichel.

Side note... Ducks moving Rakell to IR.
Earlier this week, we reported that the Golden Knights were pursuing Eichel more seriously and that a deal could come shortly. Now, with Hoven providing the hockey world with another encouraging update regarding Eichel heading to Vegas, it seems even more likely.
The Sabres have expressed interest in Peyton Krebs and Nicolas Hague as potential players heading the other way. The Golden Knights were heavily against trading Krebs, but we will have to wait and see if things have changed on that front.
If Eichel is really heading to Vegas, it will finally give them that much-needed first line center. It certainly would make the Golden Knights an even scarier team to go up against once he's fully healthy.
