Updates On Winnipeg Jets Forwards Mark Scheifele And Blake Wheeler
The Winnipeg Jets have announced that both Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler are still on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list. As a result of this, they each have been ruled out for Saturday night's contest against the Nashville Predators.
Earlier this week, Wheeler was deemed as being symptomatic, while Scheifele is asymptomatic.#NHLJets forwards Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele remain in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol and will not play in tonight’s game.

This is bad news for the Jets, as they are currently not off to a hot start this regular season. They have a 1-2-1 record and are fourth in the Central Division. The season is still very young, so they do not necessarily need to panic, but a win against Nashville still seems important.
We will have to wait and see how the Jets do without these two. Like Winnipeg, the Predators have also struggled out of the gate. They have a 1-3-0 record and will be looking to get back on track, too.
