Vegas Golden Knights Head Coach Provides Important Update Regarding Mark Stone's Injury
Vegas Golden Knights head coach Pete DeBoer has confirmed that Mark Stone does not need surgery. He also noted that Stone is now between day-to-day and week-to-week.
On October 16th's contest against the Kings, Vegas lost both Stone and Max Pacioretty. It was soon announced that Pacioretty would be out for six weeks. Although the loss of him is significant, Stone still is expected to come back sooner rather than later. That's at least a positive with this.Stone update: no surgery required. PDB says somewhere between day to day and week to week more: status. “No surgery is certainly good news.”

DeBoer recently stated that Stone would likely be day-to-day. However, there's always a bit of fear when a team loses their captain. The confirmation that Stone does not need surgery is fantastic news for Vegas.
Stone is starting the season very strongly, as he has three assists and two games. Once he returns, he should continue to contribute well for the team.
