Video: Anders Lee Scores In Return
In March of last season, New York Islanders captain Anders Lee tore his ACL. This resulted in him missing not only the rest of the regular season, but also postseason. Last night, the winger returned for the team and scored a nice goal against the Philadelphia Flyers.

It's great to see that Lee is once again healthy and able to contribute. Although the Islanders had a deep playoff run without him, his presence was missed in the lineup significantly. He's their leader and provides a bit of everything when on the ice.
In 27 games this past season, he scored 12 goals and recorded 19 points. He was having a pretty strong campaign before the injury, so it's a shame that his year ended prematurely. However, now that he's ready to go, he will be looking to build off of last season.
Nonetheless, it's not surprising that Lee's hard work led to his goal last night. He is a heart-and-soul player, after all.
