Video: Avs' Landeskog to Have Hearing for Ugly Hit on Blackhawks' Dach

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will have a hearing with the NHL's department of player safety after he delivered a dangerous hit on Chicago Blackhawks forward Kirby Dach.

The play happened during the season opener on Wednesday which turned out to be a chippy affair. The Avalanche were up 4-2 with only a few minutes left in the third period when Landeskog caught Dach from behind. 

If you follow around Landeskog during the shift you can see that he's irritated and he's chirping away as he proceeds to skate down the ice. Given he's premeditated here, expect a suspension of some kind. Take a look at the hit and you be the judge...
