Video: Brad Marchand Scores First Goal Of Season For Bruins On Penalty Shot
Brad Marchand scored the first goal of the season for the Boston Bruins in a very nice fashion. After being awarded a penalty shot, the star winger beat Dallas Stars goaltender Braden Holtby low blocker side. He may not have deked him out, but his shot placement was perfect.
It isn't surprising that Marchand was Boston's first goal scorer of the season. Marchand led the team in goals this past season with 29 in 53 games. He ended the year with 40 assists and 69 points, so it was a fantastic season all around for him. Now, he's off to another good start for the team.63 got things rolling.@Bmarch63's penalty shot is tonight's @JagermeisterUSA Shot of the Game! pic.twitter.com/zEn1CwX9Ha

Marchand also scored an empty net goal for the Bruins to cement their 3-1 victory over the Stars. It appears that he is destined to have another great season for Boston.
