Video: Bruins Goaltender Linus Ullmark Makes Great Save Against Old Team

Linus Ullmark started his first regular season game with the Boston Bruins against his former team, the Buffalo Sabres. In the first period of the tilt, he robbed Dylan Cozens with his back left leg and then followed that up with a diving save.
The Bruins signed Ullmark to a four-year, $20 million contract this summer. In 20 games last season with the Sabres, he had a 9-6-0 record and .917 SV%. His save percentage was solid, but the fact that he had a winning record with a Sabres team who struggled so much is impressive.

In six seasons with the Sabres, he had a 50-47-13 record, 2.78 GAA and .912 SV%. However, his last two years with Buffalo made him be viewed as a legitimate starting goaltender at the NHL level. This is of course why the Bruins decided to sign him this off-season.

Nonetheless, this is good to see from Ullmark. He struggled during the preseason, but is definitely showing signs of regrouping. That save alone makes that abundantly clear.
