Video: Detroit Red Wings Prospect Lights The Lamp

Lucas Raymond left a fantastic first impression with the Detroit Red Wings last night. After stealing the puck from Buffalo, the 19-year-old winger showed great stick handling before scoring a very nice goal.

Raymond is looking to cement himself a spot on the NHL roster and definitely made a good case for himself last night. The 2020 fourth overall pick also added an assist in the tilt, so he contributed to the scoresheet in more ways than one. 

He seemed to form instant chemistry with Robby Fabbri and Pius Suter, so perhaps this will be a line that Red Wing fans see moving forward. We will have to wait and see what transpires, but man, that was a sweet goal by Raymond.
