Video: Jamie Benn & Josh Brown Drop the Gloves

The Ottawa Senators hosted the Dallas Stars on Sunday night and two minutes into the game we saw a tilt between Stars captain Jamie Benn and Senators defenseman Josh Brown.

Brown stands 6'5 and 217lbs so it was certainly a bit of a surprise to see Benn willing to take him on. While the Stars captain isn't a slouch himself, was there really a reason for this fight to happen? Benn was delivering a hit in the offensive zone, gave the extra push and Brown took exception.

The traditionalist will say of course there is, a captain is trying to kick start his hockey club. Meanwhile the new wave of fans will say - so why did they fight?
