Video: Ryan Donato Scores First Goal In Seattle Kraken History
History has been made! Ryan Donato officially scored the first goal in Seattle Kraken history in the team's season opener against the Vegas Golden Knights. After defenseman Vince Dunn took a shot from the point, Donato would retrieve the rebound and put it in.
The Kraken signed Donato to a one-year, $750,000 contract this September. His versatility should make him a nice addition for the Kraken, as he can play both center and on the wing. He is more of an offensively driven forward, so can be utilized on the power play, too.remember this video for future trivia questions.@donatoryan making us all proud! 🙌 pic.twitter.com/Os7WhWaEHp

In 50 games last season with the San Jose Sharks, Donato scored six goals and had 20 points. If he can produce at a similar rate this season for the Kraken, his contract could end up being a steal.
The Kraken would lose against the Golden Knights 4-3, but did comeback from a 3-0 deficit in the process.
Nonetheless, remember Donato's name for hockey trivia night. He's now a big part of Seattle's history.
