Video: Senators' Matt Murray Makes Fantastic Save, Leaves Game With Injury
Ottawa Senators goaltender Matt Murray had the save of the day when he robbed New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider. Kreider had an empty net out front, but Murray would make a fantastic diving glove stop to rob the winger.
Overall, Murray looked very good throughout the entirety of his time on the ice. He went on to save 22 of 23 shots, but things quickly took a turn for the worst.
With a little over five minutes left in the game, Murray would get a knee to the head from Kreider after letting up a goal to him. Due to this, he left the game and Anton Forsberg replaced him.
From here, the injury deflated the Senators and Forsberg would allow two goals on three shots. This would result in the Rangers coming back and winning by a final score of 3-2. These type of losses truly sting.Matt Murray left to the dressing room after this knee to the head by Kreider pic.twitter.com/iQJ6N6UBLy

Murray is a goaltender who is looking to have a bounce back year and he looked solid in first two starts this season. That one save on Kreider certainly is his best highlight thus far, though. Here's to hoping his injury is nothing too serious and he can return to the ice soon for the Senators.
